ArtBox Music has officially launched with the aim of adding a new dimension to audio and video production in the Bengali music industry.

The production house commenced its journey with the release of its debut music video titled ‘Chupichupi’. Founded by physician and vocalist Sampa Dewan, the institution enters the market with a commitment to producing high-quality music and visuals, according to a media release. 

Sampa Dewan, the proprietor of ArtBox Music, is a physician by profession but is also well-known as a talented vocalist. Her deep passion for music and years of creative experience led to this new venture. It has been reported that music videos for approximately 50 songs rendered by Sampa Dewan herself have already been completed and will be released phase by phase.

According to those associated with the project, the primary objective of ArtBox Music is to create a professional and creative platform for emerging Bengali music artists. In addition to providing opportunities for new talent, the organization aims to bring a positive change to the industry through standard audio-video productions.

The lyrics and tune for the debut production, ‘Chupichupi’, were composed by Rohan Raj, with music direction by Palash Farukee. The video was directed by Soumitra Ghosh Imon, featuring models Sourav and Reshmi. S.K. Samir served as the overall supervisor for the entire project.

Proprietor Sampa Dewan stated, “ArtBox Music is not just a production house; it is the realization of our dream. I have been practicing music for a long time. Music videos for 50 of my songs will be released gradually. Simultaneously, we will work consistently with new artists.”

She further mentioned that ArtBox Music will not be limited to music alone; there are plans to produce plays and dramas in the future. The institution aims to carve out a unique identity in the entertainment world through quality storytelling, scripts, and production values.

S K Sameer, the Creative Director of ArtBox Music and the vocalist-music composer in charge of overall operations, said, “Prioritizing emerging young vocalists, we have begun producing regular audio-video content and are gradually moving into drama production. Our drama channel is set to debut very soon.”
