Popular children's television channel Duronto TV is set to launch its 36th season with a diverse slate of programmes, led by the premiere of its second in-house animated series. Starting from July 31, the new season will feature a mix of original productions, drama, game shows, educational programmes and internationally popular cartoons, promising engaging content for young audiences.

Original animation: Shobar Bondhu Toton

The highlight of the new season is “Shobar Bondhu Toton”, Duronto TV's second original animated series.

The series follows the adventures of Toton, a mischievous, lovable and endlessly curious boy who is a little lazy, a little naive, and always finding himself in amusing situations. Alongside his parents, sister, grandparents and a lively group of school friends, Toton's wild imagination, countless questions and quirky ideas lead to one hilarious mishap after another.

The show is set to premiere on July 31 and air every Friday and Saturday at 9 am, 1 pm, 4 pm and 8 pm.

More programmes in the new season

The latest season will also bring back several of the channel's popular original productions, including the drama “Guddu Bura”, family game show “Duronto Family”, parenting programme “Ma-Babai Shera”, and quiz show “Duronto Medhabi”.

The channel will also air a wide selection of animated favourites, including “Kutu Bhutu”, ‘Maya the Bee*, “Heidi”, “Mia and Me”, “Tree Fu Tom”, “Big & Small”, “Kate and Mim-Mim”, and “Sweet Little Monsters”.

The line-up further includes storytelling programmes “Golpo Sheshe Ghumer Deshe” and “Balu Chhobir Golpo”; arts and crafts show “The Art Room”; cookery programme “Banai Mojar Khabar: Maa, Baba ar Ami”; dramas “Hablu Gablu” and “Shohor Theke Dure”; magic show “Shonar Kathi Rupar Kathi”; puppet drama “Khatta Mitha”; and dance programme “Nacher Ishkul”.
