Filming for Season 5 of “Bachelor Point”, directed by Kajol Arefin Ome, is currently underway in Nepal, with several key cast members already on location. Over the past few days, fan-favourite characters including Kabila, Habu, Pasha, Nehal, and Arefin have been taking part in the shoot.
Nepali actress Rajshree Thapa has also joined the cast, and the scenes filmed in Nepal will appear in Chapter 12 of the series.
In addition to directing, Ome is also producing the new season. Speaking from Nepal, he shared that while there had been earlier plans to shoot abroad, they did not materialise at the time. “Now that I’m producing it myself, I’m not only thinking about the business side of content. As a writer, I want to bring to life the stories I sometimes leave untold,” he said.

Without worrying too much about expenses, we brought everyone here for a 10-day shoot. We had done location scouting beforehand, and every scene is being filmed with a great sense of joy.”
Ome also noted that Chapter 12 is being approached with a more international standard in mind. “We are trying to shoot it in a way that matches the quality of global web series,” he said.
Hinting at the storyline, Ome mentioned that the reasons behind the characters’ trip to Nepal would be both engaging and entertaining. He also suggested that future instalments might explore other international locations. “The cast we have here is the original gang of ‘Bachelor Point’. Seeing them together in one frame makes me nostalgic, and audiences feel emotionally connected to them as well. We may introduce more characters in the future.”
Season 5 of “Bachelor Point" continues its successful run, currently being broadcast across Channel i TV, Boom Films, and Bongo.
The ensemble cast includes Ziaul Hoque Polash, Marzuk Russell, Chashi Alam, Tawsif Mahbub, and Pavel Islam, alongside the returning Shamim Hasan Sarkar. Other cast members include Monira Mithu, Abdullah Rana, Ishtiaq Rumel, and Sporshia among others.
