The Josephites Foundation (formerly St. Joseph Old Boys’ Foundation), the alumni association of St. Joseph Higher Secondary School and St. Joseph International School, has announced its newly elected executive committee for the 2025–27 term.

The announcement was made during the foundation’s 16th annual general meeting, held recently at the school premises.

Mohammed Tariqul Islam, chief HR and corporate communications officer of Confidence Group, assumed office as president.

Latiful Bari, director of Rahamat Group, has been elected vice president, Barrister Shafayat Ullah, senior EVP and group chief legal officer at Mutual Trust Bank Group, as general secretary, and Mahdi Al Ameen, executive director of Mindscape Communication, will serve as treasurer.

Other members of the Executive Committee include Ahmed Zafrul Hasan (chief manager & unit head - corporate banking, Commercial Bank of Ceylon), Mohammad Munirul Islam (head of brand & CRM, BAIC-DFSK & news personality), Mirza Hashibul Halim (EVP, mutual trust bank), Salekeen Ibrahim (EVP, Eastern Bank), Ehtesham Newaz (director, Orchid Printers), Tareq Aziz (lecturer, St. Joseph Higher Secondary School), and Sinan Al Aqil (marketing & commercial, Bangladesh Cricket Board).

The election was conducted by Syed Almas Kabir, managing director, AyAI Corp Limited & MetroNet Bangladesh Limited, former President of Basis and BMCCI, and former director of FBCCI.

The newly elected committee expressed its commitment to supporting the holistic development of the institution and strengthening alumni engagement through a structured, sustainable, and socially impactful approach.
