Anamul Haque BIjoy vowed to continue his legal action against BPL after the governing council excluded him from the BPL auction list alongside eight other players.
Anamul was seen in the BCB premises and the player personally submitted the legal notice to the BCB on Monday. The letter was addressed to the BCB president and BPL member secretary. The letter mentioned that his exclusion from the local players' list was arbitrary and unjustified.
"I have sent a legal notice to the BCB, addressed to the President of the BPL Governing Council and to the Advisor. I came today to submit it personally. The BCB has received it, and I have also shared everything with you individually via WhatsApp," Bijoy told reporters.
"If anyone has anything to say, they can speak to my lawyer. I expect him to hold a press briefing tomorrow. I will update you after that. I intend to take this matter to the highest level, InshaAllah," he said.
Bijoy and other players were excluded after observation from BCB's integrity unit. Yesterday the High Court dismissed three writ petitions which challenged the exclusion of nine players, including Bijoy.
