Acclaimed actors Afzal Hossain and Afsana Mimi, both known for their widely praised work on OTT platforms, are set to share the screen in Chorki’s upcoming original title, “Rongin Shurma”. 

The Chorki Flick is scheduled to premiere on August 13. Directed by MD Reazul Hoque Imran, the short-form family drama revolves around a lie, countless letters and the enduring love between a married couple.
 

One of the project’s biggest highlights is the on-screen pairing of Afzal Hossain and Afsana Mimi. Over the course of their distinguished careers, both actors have earned widespread acclaim for their performances across television, film and OTT platforms. “Rongin Shurma” marks another opportunity for audiences to see the celebrated duo together on screen.

The Chorki Original explores themes of family, love, emotion and the unexpected turns of life. At its heart is the story of how a seemingly small lie, conveyed through a series of letters, leads a married couple to rediscover their relationship from a new perspective.
