Popular band Shironamhin is set to release "Ei Obelay 2", the sequel to their much-loved 2019 hit "Ei Obelay", today (December 4). The new track will arrive as the final song on the band's latest album, "Batighor", and will be unveiled in both Bangla and English versions.

Shironamhin confirmed that both versions will be released simultaneously on their official YouTube channel. The English edition has been titled "Remember Me".

Band leader and bassist Ziaur Rahman, who wrote the original song, has also penned the sequel. Drummer Kazi Ahmed Shafin directed the music video, with the English translation provided by Resh Rahman.

Speaking about the sequel, Ziaur Rahman said: "After the first song was released, the response was overwhelming. Listeners had been asking for a sequel, just as they did earlier with our track 'Hashimukh' from the first album. While planning 'Batighor', we realised the demand for a continuation of 'Ei Obelay' was huge — that's when the idea for the sequel took shape."

The music video for "Ei Obelay 2" was filmed across several Thai islands, including Ko Kham, Ko Mak and Ko Chang. Television presenter Neel Hurerzahan appears as the model in the video, which received production support from The Premium Homes Limited.

Both versions of the song will be available from today.
