Xiaomi has entered the country’s home appliance market for the first time, launching a range of smart televisions, laundry products, and connected home devices.
The launch, held at the Sheraton in Banani, Dhaka, marks a wider push by the company to move beyond smartphones and AIoT products into a broader smart home ecosystem for Bangladeshi consumers.
Among the new products are the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5kg, the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series, featuring QD-Mini LED technology, up to 1,200 nits brightness, a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and the TV A Pro Series 2026, offering 4K UHD display and Google TV.
The company said the expansion reflected "growing demand" in Bangladesh for connected devices that support entertainment, home care, wellness and security. Other products launched include 6.5-litre and 6-litre air fryers, Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact and Lite, Xiaomi Smart Camera C201 and C301, outdoor smart cameras and the Xiaomi Smart Tag.
