The US president, Donald Trump, said on Friday that he was unhappy with a new proposal from Iran for peace talks with the United States, with negotiations between the two sides stalled amid a weeks-long ceasefire.

‘At this moment I’m not satisfied with what they’re offering,’ Trump told reporters.
