Popular cartoonist and entertainer Morshed Mishu has married his longtime partner, Tahmina Shipa, after being in a relationship for three years. Shipa currently works as a data analyst at Bitopia Group.

The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony held at Masjid Al Mustafa in the presence of close friends and family members. They are planning to host a larger wedding celebration later this year, likely around November or December.

Expressing his joy after the wedding, Mishu said, “I am really happy to have married my beautiful wife. I feel like everyone should marry the person they love so they can experience this kind of happiness too.”

Sharing the story of how they first met, the cartoonist recounted the memory in his trademark humorous style.

“I had gone to meet one of my friends downstairs at her office. Shipa spotted me through the office window and asked my friend, ‘Apu, isn’t that Morshed Mishu? The one who draws cartoons and did ‘Pett Kata Shaw’?’ My friend asked if she wanted to meet me, but Shipa replied, ‘No, he’s a celebrity, he’ll probably act arrogant.’ My friend then told her that I was actually very friendly,” he said.

Mishu added that Shipa eventually came downstairs, and he was instantly captivated by her. “The moment I saw her, I was completely smitten. I immediately asked my friend if she was single and requested her Instagram ID. Then Madam Shipa herself heard everything and messaged me on Instagram. And the rest is history,” he shared.
