The Amar Bangladesh Party on Sunday pledged the formation of a just society based on the spirit of the 1971 liberation war and the 2024 July Uprising.
The party chairman, Mojibur Rahman Bhuiyan Monju, pledged this while unveiling the party’s election manifesto at its central office in the city.
AB Party is a partner of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami-led alliance.
Mojibur announced the election manifesto ahead of the next Jatiya Sangsad elections, scheduled for 12, and pledged to bring radical changes in the education, health, mass transport, housing, youths’ job creation, environment, women safety, foreign policy and defence sectors.
He called on all political parties of the country to continue unity for the implementation of the spirit of the July uprising.
The party’s central leaders Selim Khan, Abdul Halim Khokan, and Farah Naz Satter, among others, attend the press conference.
