The film will be scripted and produced by Jenny Han, the bestselling author whose novels inspired the hit series, alongside Sarah Kucserka. While plot details remain under wraps, Han confirmed that the movie will pick up directly after Season 3, noting, "There is another big milestone left in Belly's journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due."
