Following the global buzz surrounding the official World Cup song "Siir Siir", performed by Bangladeshi-American DJ, singer and music producer Sanjoy Deb and Bollywood star Nora Fatehi at the tournament’s opening ceremony, the duo has reunited for another musical collaboration. Their new track, "Champions", has just been released.

Speaking to Prothom Alo from Dallas, Sanjoy said that the song carries a message of victory, celebration and self-belief.
“This is not just a song about winning a sporting contest,” he said. “It is about celebrating achievement and success after any struggle in life. We want listeners to feel inspired and empowered. ‘Champions’ is a song that will make everyone feel like a winner.”
In addition to lending his vocals to the track, Sanjoy wrote the lyrics and composed and produced the music. He noted that work on the project had been underway for the past two months and that both he and Nora had planned to release the song during the World Cup period.

The music video for “Champions” was filmed in the picturesque island destination of Zanzibar, in Tanzania. Sanjoy and Nora travelled there for just two days, completing the shoot in a single day. According to Sanjoy, Zanzibar’s stunning natural beauty and coastal scenery have added a distinctive visual dimension to the project.

Ahead of the release, the duo has already launched a promotional campaign across social media. In one of her latest Facebook posts, Nora asked fans: “Are you all ready for ‘Champions’?” The post has further fuelled anticipation among her followers.
Meanwhile, sharing the song, Nora also wrote on her verified social handle, “We are live! The official music video for ‘Champions’ is now streaming on YouTube!”
