An entrepreneurship fair was organized at Gopalganj University of Science and Technology (GUST) to inspire students to develop innovative ideas and pursue entrepreneurial ventures.

The fair, arranged by the Office of Student Counseling and Guidance, was held on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm in front of the university’s administrative building. A total of 22 stalls were set up where students showcased a wide range of creative and self-developed products.

In the afternoon, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Hossain Uddin Shekhar, Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Sohel Hasan, and Treasurer Professor Dr Mohammad Nazmul Ahsan visited various stalls of the fair. They interacted with the student entrepreneurs and shared insights on different aspects of business and entrepreneurship.

Among others present at the event were Dean of the Faculty of Science and Convener of the Entrepreneurship Fair Dr Dipankar Kumar; Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Dr Mohammad Anisur Rahman; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Dr Md Kamruzzaman; Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies Dr Md Sulaiman Hossain; Dean of the Faculty of Law Mansura Khanam; Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine Dr Md Mahbub Hasan; Proctor Dr Arifuzzaman Rajib; and Director of the Office of Student Counseling and Guidance Md Badrul Islam.

Later in the afternoon, prizes were distributed among the participants who secured first, second, and third places in the fair.
