A free eye camp was held in Mahadevpur upazila of Naogaon with the support of PKSF and Orbis, and organised by Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital under the initiative of the Mousumi–Samriddhi Programme.

The day-long camp was organised on Monday at the premises of Uttargram Union Parishad in Mahadevpur upazila. From the morning, a large number of people gathered to receive eye care services.

Around 200 patients received eye examinations, free cataract surgery arrangements, and other eye health services at the camp. Specialist doctors and healthcare workers were present to diagnose eye-related diseases, provide advice on the use of spectacles, and raise awareness on various aspects of eye care.

Organisers said the initiative is a significant step towards preventing blindness and ensuring eye care for underprivileged people. As part of the programme, free eye check-ups, cataract surgeries, and essential eye health services were provided to the beneficiaries.
