The IAB, a prominent partner of the Jamaat-led 11-Party Alliance, was absent from the final seat-sharing meeting, held at the central office of Jamaat in the Moghbazar area on Thursday morning.
IAB leaders were dissatisfied with the number of seats given for their party and, as a result, a scheduled press conference on Wednesday was postponed.
The Jamaat-led alliance was formed with eight political parties in the last half of the past year.
Then the National Citizen Party, Liberal Democratic Party and Amar Bangladesh Party joined in the alliance.
From the meeting on Thursday, the 11-Party Election Oikya was formed.
