Midland Bank PLC. organized a “Leaders Meet” programme with all Branch Managers on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the MDB Training Institute.

The programme aimed to strengthen collaboration, encourage open dialogue, and address key operational and business challenges across the bank’s network, according to a media release. 

Imtiaz U Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO, actively engaged with the Branch Managers, listened to their challenges and operational issues, and discussed practical strategies to improve business performance, customer service, and overall efficiency across the bank.

Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director & CRO, and Md. Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director & CTO, were also present at the programme, along with members of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and the Selective Head of Divisions.

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Chairman of Midland Bank PLC., attended the event and delivered a motivational speech.

In his address, he emphasized the importance of strong leadership, teamwork, dedication and continuous improvement to achieve sustainable growth and organizational excellence to reach the bank in the top position.

The interactive session provided a platform for Branch Managers to share their experiences, raise concerns, and propose actionable ideas.

The discussion focused on enhancing business growth, improving service quality, and strengthening coordination between branches and management, the release adds.
