Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan has sparked curiosity after making a brief, unexpected trip from Sri Lanka to Cox’s Bazar in the middle of shooting his upcoming film.

Shakib is currently busy filming “Prince”, directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud, in Sri Lanka. However, on Thursday morning, the actor abruptly returned to Bangladesh, landing first at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. From there, he travelled straight to Cox’s Bazar by helicopter.

Sources have clarified that the trip was not related to any film shoot. Shakib Khan is the brand ambassador of Square Group, and he flew in to attend a retailer meet organised by the company. The visit is reportedly limited to just two days.

According to close sources, Shakib is scheduled to return to Sri Lanka on Friday to resume the remaining shoot of “Prince”.

Videos of his arrival in Cox’s Bazar have already gone viral on social media. Clips shared from SK Films’ official page show the actor stepping off the helicopter and being warmly welcomed with flowers.

Shakib Khan’s sudden appearance in Cox’s Bazar naturally triggered speculation among fans, with many initially assuming he had arrived for a new film or commercial shoot. The clarification, however, confirms that the visit is purely tied to a corporate engagement.
