The Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission Officers Association Election-2026 was held at the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission head office in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Md Golam Mahbub (head, Administration Division, Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant Construction Project) was elected as president and ATM Golam Kibria (head, Administration Division, BAEC, Dhaka) as general secretary from the Mahbub-Kibria panel.

Other elected office-bearers are senior vice-president Mahmud Hossain, finance secretary Masud Rana Mondal, joint-secretary Mohammad Shamsuddoha, cultural and sports secretary Munshi Maqsud Rana (Nasim), office secretary Maruf Hossain, information and publication secretary Md Solaiman Mia, and women affairs secretary Rozina Parveen.

Md Habibur Rahman, Masud Al Azad, Md Abu Taher and Md Altaf Hossain were elected Executive Council members from the same panel.

Md Azibar Rahman Molla was elected as vice-president and Saikat Ahmed as EC member from among the independent candidates.

The officials of all the institutions in Dhaka, including the head office of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, and the institutions under the commission located in different districts of the country, voted for their representatives for the next two years in a festive atmosphere.
