Bangladesh has registered another child death linked to measles symptoms in a day, with 167 new cases confirmed in the same period.
A total of 3,627 patients with symptoms are now in hospital across the country.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) began recording data on measles from Mar 15. Data from the past three months shows that the number of suspected measles patients has eased after a spike.
On May 1, 3,450 suspected measles patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country. On Jun 1, the number was 4,180, and on Jul 1, it was 3,627.
In its regular measles bulletin on Wednesday, the DGHS said 93 people have died of confirmed cases of measles across the country since Mar 15.
