Bahraini rapper Flipperachi has entered the Guinness World Records after his song “FA9LA”, featured in Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster film “Dhurandhar”, topped the highest number of Billboard Arabia music charts.

The track, which plays during Akshaye Khanna’s striking entry scene in the Aditya Dhar–directed spy thriller, has significantly boosted the 37-year-old rapper’s popularity in India. Although “FA9LA” was originally released in May 2024, it gained widespread recognition only after Dhurandhar hit cinemas in December 2025. The song later went viral on social media, driven by its infectious rhythm and Khanna’s much-discussed dance sequence.

Flipperachi—whose real name is Hussam Aseem—was reportedly in the middle of a photoshoot when he was informed of the Guinness World Records achievement.

The milestone comes ahead of the rapper’s upcoming India tour in March. As part of the tour, he is scheduled to perform in Bengaluru on March 14, marking his first visit to India following the success of “FA9LA”.

Starring Ranveer Singh alongside Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and R Madhavan, Dhurandhar is set in Pakistan’s Lyari neighbourhood and follows the story of Indian intelligence operative Hamza Ali Mazari, who infiltrates a criminal syndicate.

Released on December 5, the action drama has broken multiple box-office records. It is currently the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, the biggest hit of Ranveer Singh’s career, and the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 805.97 crore net in India so far.
