Singer-songwriter Pantha Kanai is set to release a new song titled "Abar Tora Manush Ho", continuing his steady run of recent musical releases.

Pantha Kanai has been active in music for more than two decades and remains fully engaged with songwriting and performance. After the October release of "Shei Ek Shomoy Chhilo", which drew wide attention, he is now returning with a song that reflects the unease and frustration of the present time.

The lyrics of "Abar Tora Manush Ho" express a hope that people will reconnect with their conscience and rediscover what it means to be truly human. The song is written by Faruk Anwar, composed by Kamal Ahmed, and arranged by Zahid Bashar Pankaj. The music video has been directed by Samrat Ahmed, and the song is expected to be released soon on FA Music's YouTube channel.

Speaking about the song, lyricist Faruk Anwar said, "This is an uncomfortable time. There is so much noise around us, yet truthful voices feel increasingly isolated. Destruction is not limited to the streets; it is happening within people as well. This song is not meant to accuse anyone, but to make us face ourselves. There is no success in spreading chaos in society. Standing beside one another for the greater good, beyond divisions, is what defines us as human beings."

In addition to "Abar Tora Manush Ho", Pantha Kanai has several other unreleased songs waiting to be shared. "I have more than 30 songs on my computer, all composed and arranged by me," he said. "I haven't yet decided which platforms to release them on, but the recording and video shoots for three songs are completely finished." He added that the songs will be released gradually.

Pantha Kanai will also appear in the upcoming episode of the magazine programme "Ityadi", scheduled to air on December 26 on Bangladesh Television. The episode will feature a song written by Mohammad Rafiquzzaman, performed by Pantha Kanai alongside folk singer Beauty.

Beyond performance, Pantha Kanai has also been involved in music education. In 2018, he founded a music school called DrumBuzz to introduce children to music, an initiative that paused during the Covid-19 pandemic. He now hopes to revive the project. "The dream is still alive," he said. "If I find the right space, I want to start again — teaching drums, guitar and singing."
