Proposals on individual taxpayers in the national budget for the FY27 is regressive following dropping the bottom slab with 5 per cent income tax.

This was said by MA Baqui Khalily, the dean of School of Business under University of Asia Pacific, while presenting a keynote paper on a post budget discussion on Monday in the capital.
