The Ukrainian military struck three logistics centres across Russia as well as a sea terminal in the Krasnodar region, President Volodymyr Zelensky said yesterday.

Sites in Sarapul, Kazan and Volgograd came under attack, he said in a statement on X.

Ukraine’s military also hit Russia’s Volgograd oil refinery overnight yesterday, causing a fire at the facility. The refinery has a capacity of about 15 million tonnes of oil a year, the military said in a statement on Telegram.

Meanwhile, Russian forces struck a fuel storage facility and an oil refinery at the Ukrainian port of Odesa and hit a vessel south of the port that was delivering supplies for the Ukrainian army, Russia’s Defence Ministry said yesterday.

The military also had struck a Ukrainian mail sorting centre in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Russian forces had struck 31 ships linked to the Ukrainian military in the past week, including 23 cargo ships, four bulk carriers, two tug boats, a support vessel and a landing craft, the defence ministry said.
