A fire broke out at a garment warehouse in the Kalurghat area of Chattogram on Tuesday night.

"Four units from the Kalurghat and Chandgaon fire stations are working to douse the blaze after we received the report around 9:15pm," Anowar Hossain, assistant director of the Chattogram Fire Service and Civil Defence, told The Daily Star.

Speaking around 11:15pm, while the operation was still underway, he said the fire had not yet been brought under control.

This comes a day after a fire erupted at a blanket warehouse in Kadamtoli on Monday.
