Popular on-screen duo Farhan Ahmed Jovan and Tanjim Saiyara Totini are set to return this Eid with a special television drama titled “Mon Foring”.
Written and directed by Imraul Rafat, the drama brings the much-loved pair together once again, raising expectations among viewers for another compelling on-screen chemistry. Cinematography for the project was handled by Naeem Fuad.
While the director has chosen not to reveal extensive details about the storyline, he shared that the narrative unfolds in a small town in Barishal. The story introduces Suman, an NGO worker, and Rekha, an honours student from a well-off local family. Another significant character, Miraj, plays a central role in the unfolding events.
The plot primarily revolves around the romantic relationship between Miraj and Rekha, though Rafat hinted that the story ultimately centres on Suman. The director believes the love triangle and themes of longing will offer audiences a fresh emotional experience.
The drama also features performances by Lutfur Rahman George and Saberi Alam in supporting roles.
Producer SK Sahed Ali Pappu said the production house is preparing 20 special dramas for Eid, with “Mon Foring” being one of the highlights. The drama will be released on CMV’s official YouTube channel as part of the Eid festivities.
