A two-day art camp titled Jal Paharer Jal Kabyo, featuring 11 seasoned and promising artists, concluded on Sunday at Susang Durgapur in Netrakona.

Organised by the Mymensingh Divisional Charushilpi Parishad, the art camp aimed to promote the natural beauty of the Someshwari River—which flows along the slopes of the Meghalaya hills—as well as the unique lifestyle of local ethnic minority villagers.

Parishad President Md. Rajon said that the camp aimed to further explore the profound connection between art and nature.

He noted that the raw beauty of Susang Durgapur was masterfully brought to life over the two days through various watercolour, oil, and mixed-media works, which will be exhibited in the future.

Artists Nazmul Rahat, Bishwojit Karmakar, Sagor Sarker, Goutam Kumer Debnath, Rajon Acharya, Ananna Nourin, Monira Akter, Nobonita Choudhury, Preyo Datta, and Nazmul Hossain Rony were among the participants of the camp, which began on Saturday.
