The record-breaking family drama “Eta Amaderi Golpo” is set to bid farewell to its viewers with its 52nd episode, bringing an end to a journey that has deeply resonated with audiences. Following its television broadcast on Channel i, the final episode will premiere on May 8 at 3 pm on Cinemawala’s YouTube channel.

In a special treat for viewers, the concluding episode will run for an extended 92 minutes—significantly longer than the usual 25 to 28-minute runtime of each episode.

Speaking about the finale, writer-director Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz described the series as a dream project. “I am happy that I could bring ‘Eta Amaderi Golpo’ to life the way I envisioned. The overwhelming love from viewers has been truly inspiring. As a token of appreciation, we have crafted the final episode in a special way, making it four times longer than a regular episode. I invite everyone to watch it,” he said.

The series has been airing on Channel i every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:30 pm since November 5, last year. Episodes have also been released weekly on Cinemawala’s YouTube channel on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 12 pm. However, the final two episodes 51 and 52 will be released on Thursday and Friday respectively.

From the outset, the family-centric drama garnered widespread acclaim both at home and abroad. Each episode sparked strong viewer engagement, with some even achieving millions of views within a single day. The show has also attracted thousands of positive comments across social media and YouTube.

Inspired by the Pakistani drama “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum”, the series adapts its themes to a distinctly Bangladeshi family setting. Its compelling narrative, emotional depth, distinctive storytelling style, and strong performances have contributed to its remarkable success.

Produced under the Cinemawala banner, the story revolves around four central characters—Fahad, Samir, Mehreen and Sayra—and their families. Irfan Sajjad plays Fahad, while Khairul Basar portrays his brother Samir. In a dramatic twist, Samir marries Fahad’s former love, Mehreen, played by Keya Payel. Fahad’s wife Sayra is portrayed by Sunerah Binte Kamal.

The ensemble cast also includes Nader Chowdhury, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, MNU Raju, and Mukit Zakaria among others.
