Seeking BNP nomination for Lakshmipur-1 constituency

Shahadat Hossain Selim, spokesperson of the 12-party alliance and secretary general of Bangladesh Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), joined BNP today.

He formally became a member of the party this afternoon at 4:20pm at the BNP chairperson's office in Dhaka's Gulshan, where he presented a bouquet to BNP standing committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury.

Selim contested from the Lakshmipur-1 constituency in the 2018 national election as a member of LDP under the BNP-led alliance.

He is now seeking the party's nomination from the same seat.
