The popular action-adventure video game Red Dead Redemption, along with its Undead Nightmare expansion, is now available on new platforms, including mobile devices, current-generation consoles, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

The release marks the first time the acclaimed Western adventure, originally launched in 2010, is playable on iOS and Android. The mobile versions feature adapted controls and a performance mode for higher framerates. Netflix subscribers can also download and play these mobile versions through the Netflix app at no extra cost.

For console players, new native versions are available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch 2. Owners of the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or the original Nintendo Switch are eligible for a free digital upgrade to the new version for their respective console family.

These upgraded editions offer technical enhancements, including support for 60 frames-per-second gameplay, HDR, and resolutions up to 4K on compatible hardware. Player progress and save data can also be carried over from the previous console versions.

The release includes the complete single-player story of Red Dead Redemption and the full Undead Nightmare zombie narrative, along with all bonus content from the game's Game of the Year Edition. The new console versions are also included in the GTA+ Games Library and the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.
