Bangladesh have been grouped with hosts the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Bhutan and Macau, China in Group C of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2027 Qualifiers following the draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Thursday.
The 35 participating teams were divided into seven groups of five for the qualifying round, which will be played in a single round-robin format at centralised venues from November 8 to 20, 2026.
Bangladesh will have to finish top of Group C to secure a place in the finals. The group will be hosted by the United Arab Emirates.
The seven group winners will join nine teams that have already qualified for the finals through the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026. Those teams are Australia, China PR, Japan, Korea Republic, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam, with Japan entering as the defending champions.
The AFC U-17 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2027 finals are scheduled to take place from May 12 to 29, 2027.
