Health Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain tonight paid a visit to those injured in the wall collapse in Mirpur earlier in the day.

Two people were killed and at least six others were injured after a boundary wall of Mirpur University College collapsed on people waiting in line to buy Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) products in Dhaka's Mirpur this afternoon.

Sakhawat visited the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), commonly known as Pangu Hospital, around 8:30pm and inquired about the condition of the injured and spoke with the attending physicians.

He also assured them of all possible government support.

Of the injured, five are undergoing treatment at Pangu Hospital, while one is receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
