An Eid special usually brings extra excitement for the audience — and when the show is “Ityadi”, expectations automatically go higher. For over twenty years, the programme has stayed popular with both senior viewers and the younger generation. It also frequently appears on YouTube’s trending list. This Eid is expected to be the same.
The upcoming Eid special episode of “Ityadi” will present a thought-provoking group song highlighting social decay and moral contradictions in contemporary society.
This year’s performance focuses on how moral lessons learned in childhood often lose their meaning in adult life. Popular actor Sariful Razz and actress Sabila Nur have taken part in the aesthetically choreographed segment, which was warmly received by the live audience.
The song’s lyrics were penned by noted lyricist Mohammad Rafiquzzaman, while music arrangement was done by Mehedi. Vocals were provided by Rajib and Tanjina Ruma. The regular dance troupe of “Ityadi” performed in the number, with choreography directed by Mamun.

According to Fagun Audio Vision, the production house behind the show, the contemporary group song addresses morality and truth hidden beneath a web of lies and corruption spreading through society. Despite their busy schedules, the artistes reportedly rehearsed regularly to perfect the performance.The segment was filmed on January 24 at a grand outdoor set constructed at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center.The Eid special of Ityadi will air on Bangladesh Television at 8 pm on the day after Eid, following the Bangla news bulletin.
