Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has formed a three-member committee to assess the damages caused by a temporary cattle market on vacant land in Bou-Bazar, adjacent to Sectors 16 and 18 of Uttara Diabari, and up to a vacant field in C-Block of Sector 18 along the Dhaka Metro Rail corridor.

According to a press release issued today, the committee will examine damage resulting from waste accumulation, destruction of trees and vegetation, and the impact of vehicular movement on roads beneath the Uttara Center Metro Station.

The committee has been instructed to submit its report within three working days, said DNCC Public Relations Officer Zakir Hossain.
