Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Structural Engineers Limited (SEL), a Dhaka-based real estate company, to provide home loan facilities to its customers.

Md Shafquat Hossain, deputy managing director and head of the retail banking division at the bank, and Mohammad Abdul Awal, managing director of the real estate company, signed the MoU at SEL Centre in West Panthapath, Dhaka, according to a press release.

Under the agreement, clients of Structural Engineers Limited will be able to avail home loans from MTB at competitive interest rates with faster loan processing.

Tahsin Shahid, executive vice-president and head of retail business at the bank, and Mohammad Abdur Rahman, additional deputy managing director of the real estate company, along with other senior officials from both organisations, were also present at the signing ceremony.
