The 91st meeting of Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIBPLC) was held on Monday at the Board meeting room of the Corporate Head Office of the bank, according to a press release.

The Chairman of Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, Mufti Shamsuddin Zia, presided over the meeting. The meeting discussed various issues related to Shari'ah compliance in overall Islamic Banking operations and provided shariah based guideline and approvals on various matters presented in the meeting.

Among others, Mufti Abdullah Masum, Member of Shari'ah Supervisory Committee of the Bank were present in the meeting. Besides, Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, the Managing Director and Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, Head of Shari'ah Secretariat of the bank were also present in the meeting.

The formal proceedings of the meeting began with the recitation from the Holy Qur'an and the meeting was concluded with Do'a and Munajat and wishing continued prosperity of the bank.
