Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan joined Dutch-Bangla Bank as managing director & CEO on February 7. 

Before joining as MD & CEO, Khan was deputy managing director and chief business officer (CBO) of the bank for around 6 years.

He was also chief operating officer (COO) of the bank. Before that, he served as manager of several strategically important branches of DBBL, including the local office. 

Khan joined Dutch-Bangla Bank in 2003. He played a pivotal role in the bank’s transformational initiatives, innovation, business expansion and operational excellence.

With over 30 years of banking experience, Khan began his banking career as an assistant manager (on probation) at Basic Bank in 1995.

He completed his BSc (Hons) and MSc in Economics from Jahangirnagar University.
