The intensity of winter shows no signs of easing in Panchagarh, with the minimum temperature hovering around 10°C for the past five days.
According to the Tentulia Meteorological Observatory, the district recorded a minimum temperature of 10.7°C at 6am on Wednesday, with humidity at 97%.
The same minimum temperature was recorded on Tuesday, while the maximum temperature on that day was 27.2°C.
Jitendranath Roy, officer-in-charge of the Tentulia Meteorological Observatory, said the district has been experiencing minimum temperatures close to 10°C for five consecutive days. “There is a possibility that the temperature may drop further in the coming days,” he added.
Meteorological data show that Panchagarh recorded minimum temperatures of 10.7°C on Wednesday and Tuesday, 10.6°C on Monday, 10.5°C on Sunday and Saturday, 12°C on Friday, and 12.5°C on Thursday.
