One of the sweetest couples in showbiz, Nazia Haque Orsha and Mostafizur Noor Imran are stepping into this Eid with a mix of love, reflection, and quiet resilience. Since tying the knot in 2024, the duo have become a source of comfort and strength for one another, their bond deepened by time, shared experiences, and life’s unexpected turns.
Their journey began on a film set, where their interaction was initially limited to casual conversations. It was only later, through work-related communication and shared moments during the pandemic, that their connection began to grow. What started as simple check-ins gradually turned into meaningful conversations, eventually leading Imran to take what he describes as a “leap of faith.”
For Imran, realising Orsha was “the one” wasn’t marked by a grand, cinematic moment. Instead, it came quietly. He recalls an ordinary day after a long and exhausting schedule, when the two sat together in silence. “There weren’t many words, yet there was complete understanding,” he shares. “In that stillness, I knew this is the person I want beside me for the rest of my life.”
Orsha, on the other hand, remembers their relationship unfolding naturally, without any immediate plans for marriage. However, life took an unexpected turn when her mother’s health deteriorated. What was once a distant plan became urgent, and within just five days, their wedding was arranged. “I always wanted a simple, traditional wedding reflecting our Bengali roots, and that’s exactly what happened,” she says.

Marriage, according to Imran, has added a new layer of depth to their relationship. While the foundation of their bond remains unchanged, it is now strengthened by a shared sense of responsibility and partnership. “It’s no longer just about sharing moments; it’s about sharing a life,” he explains, emphasising how their decisions and priorities have become more aligned.
The couple believes their differences are what truly strengthen their connection. Imran describes Orsha as expressive and emotionally transparent, while he considers himself more reserved and analytical. Rather than creating distance, these contrasting traits help them balance each other. “It’s like two different energies working in harmony,” he says.

Orsha echoes the sentiment, noting how understanding each other’s emotional patterns has brought them closer. “Compatibility isn’t about being identical—it’s about respecting individuality while growing together,” she reflects.
When it comes to gifting, the two share a thoughtful approach. Imran believes Orsha has a keen eye for meaningful details and would likely choose something practical yet personal for him. In return, he prefers gifts that reflect her elegance and emotional depth—something intimate rather than extravagant.
However, this Eid carries a note of sorrow for Orsha, as it will be her first without her mother. With new responsibilities weighing on her, she admits uncertainty about whether she will spend the occasion at home or in Dhaka. “There’s quiet sadness this year,” she shares.

Standing by her side through this difficult time, Imran reflects on the nature of support and partnership. “Grief is not linear,” he says. “Some days are strong, some days are unexpectedly heavy. My role is not to offer solutions, but to offer presence—to listen, to sit in silence, and to allow space for healing.”
For the couple, this Eid is not just about celebration—it is about togetherness, understanding, and standing steady for one another through life’s changing seasons.
