The Dhaka University metro station will remain closed throughout tomorrow (April 14) while the Shahbagh station will remain closed until 12:00pm, according to a circular issued today.

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMTCL), in the circular, expressed regret for the inconvenience.

The circular did not mention any reason, but a DMTCL official said the decision was taken as the Shahbagh and Dhaka University areas are expected to see large gatherings centring the Pahela Baishakh celebrations, which could make maintaining services difficult.
