Leaders of Revolutionary Workers Party of Bangladesh, a partner of Ganatantra Mancha on Saturday at a protest rally in Dhaka said that the upcoming Jatiya Sangsad election must be free of undisclosed money and muscle power.

The leaders also said that the next general election must be held in February in a free, fair and credible manner.


Dhaka City unit of the party organised the rally at the Purana Paltan Crossing in the City.

The party’s general secretary Saiful Huq said that next general election must be held in February and must be free of undisclosed money and muscle power so that the voters could cast their votes for their desired candidates.

Mostaque, the rally was addressed, among others, by central leaders Akbar Khan, Saiful Islam, Rasheda Begaum.

The rally was followed by a protest procession that paraded several city roads.
