The organisers of the Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) have officially announced the jury board for the Asian Films Competition segment of its upcoming edition.

This year, acclaimed Bangladeshi actor, presenter, and architect Aupee Karim joins the judging panel alongside five internationally recognised film professionals. The jury brings together a diverse mix of global expertise and artistic insight. Members include Norwegian producer Ingrid Lill Høgtun, known for her acclaimed international co-productions; Italian producer and distributor Lydia Genchi, a regular presence across major European festivals; Malaysian media executive and content strategist Teng Lee Yein, a key figure in Asian entertainment; and Turkish filmmaker Reis Çelik, celebrated for his award-winning films and decades of contribution to cinema, journalism, and visual storytelling.

The Asian Films Competition accepts fictional films from across Asia with a runtime of 70–100 minutes. Eligible films must be produced in 2025, although late-2024 productions may be considered under special circumstances. An international jury evaluates the submissions and will honour winners in six categories: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Script, and Best Cinematographer. Each award includes a crest and certificate.

The 24th Dhaka International Film Festival will take place from January 10 to 18, 2026 in Dhaka. Screenings will be held at Alliance Française de Dhaka, Stamford University Bangladesh, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, and the Bangladesh National Museum Auditorium.
