The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) have extended its congratulations to Md Aminul Haque on his appointment as the State Minister for Ministry of Youth & Sports of the Bangladesh Government on Tuesday.
“Aminul Haque’s leadership on the field of sports inspired a generation of supporters and young sportsmen across the country. The former Bangladesh National Football Team captain’s elevation to a key role in national sports administration marks an important moment for the sporting fraternity, reflecting recognition of the value of experience earned through competition at the highest level.” said the BCB statement.
BCB President Md Aminul Islam added in the statement, “The appointment of a distinguished sports figure like Aminul Haque as State Minister for Youth & Sports is a significant step for Bangladesh. Having led the national football team with pride, he understands the realities, challenges and aspirations of athletes firsthand. I am confident that his experience as a sportsman will positively influence the development of sports across disciplines.
“The BCB reaffirms its commitment to working closely with the new State Minister and the Ministry of Youth & Sports in promoting and strengthening sports at all levels, ensuring continued progress and opportunity for athletes across Bangladesh.”

The BFF statement continued, “I hope that through your strong leadership, talent, and wisdom, the country's sports arena will become more dynamic and Bangladesh will further strengthen its position in the sports arena.”
