Raihan Rafi's much-awaited web-film "Omimangshito" is finally set for release on iScreen.
In a Facebook post on Sunday (December 7) evening, OTT platform iScreen announced that the web-film will be available to viewers on December 15.
Sharing a poster, they wrote, "The mystery hidden behind the face is still waiting to be revealed."
In this mystery-driven thriller centred on the murder of a journalist couple, Imtiaz Barshon and Tanzika Amin play the lead roles. The trailer also features several well-known actors, including Shahidul Alam Sachchu and Manoj Pramanik.
The makers have not clarified whether the story is inspired by a real incident. Even so, "Omimangshito" has already stirred strong curiosity among viewers.
The film was initially scheduled for release on February 29, 2024. After the teaser was released, the censor board stated that even though it is OTT content, clearance was mandatory before release. Following two rounds of review, the board declared the film "not suitable for exhibition" in April last year — resulting in the release being halted.
