The National Citizen Party (NCP) will announce the names of 100 more candidates for upazila chairman and municipality mayor posts on June 15, said the party’s local government election management committee chairman Sarjis Alam.

Sarjis made the announcement in a post on his verified Facebook page this afternoon.

The party had earlier announced its first list of 100 candidates for the posts on May 10, at an emergency press conference held at its central office in Banglamotor, Dhaka.

Prior to that, on March 29, NCP had announced mayoral candidates for the upcoming elections to five city corporations, including Dhaka South and Dhaka North.
