Google is rolling out new Gemini-powered voice features across Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Keep, allowing users to search, write, and organise information by speaking rather than typing.

The tools, called Gmail Live, Docs Live, and Keep Live, use conversational commands to carry out different tasks. Gmail users can ask questions about information contained in their inbox, while the system displays a transcript of the conversation.

Docs Live allows users to describe what they want to write and have Gemini prepare an initial draft. The service can draw information from sources including Gmail and Drive when helping prepare documents.

Keep Live is designed as a voice-driven digital scratchpad, allowing people to dictate notes or ask the AI to assemble lists.

Gmail Live is available to Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers, while Docs Live and Keep Live are available on Pro and Ultra plans. The features are initially being released in English on iOS and Android.
