Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami on Wednesday expressed concern over the disclosure of some important and delicate matters of the state by president Mohammed Shahabuddin in an interview with a Bangla daily which was published recently.
Jamaat secretary general Mia Golam Porwar in a press statement said that the presidential post was a high constitutional post and his every comment and step were important for the nation and related with the oath of secrecy.
He said that in the interview the president had disclosed secrecies of the state which was violation of oath and it aroused questions among the people of the country.
He called on the president to be careful in future showing honour to the constitution and image of the country.
