The Indian high commission in Dhaka has announced fully paid scholarship opportunities for Bangladeshi students under the Indian Council for Cultural Relations Scholarship Programme for the academic year 2026–27, said a press release.

According to a press release, the scholarships include the Suborno Jayanti Scholarship and the Lata Mangeshkar Dance & Music Scholarship.

These programmes aim to support meritorious Bangladeshi nationals seeking to pursue undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees at Indian government and public universities or institutes.

The scholarships cover a wide range of disciplines, excluding medicine, paramedical courses such as nursing and physiotherapy, as well as fashion, law, and integrated courses.

Interested candidates will be able to apply through the ICCR’s A2A scholarship portal once it opens on February 27, 2026, at 5:00pm.

The deadline for online application submission has been set for April 15, 2026.

Detailed guidelines and application procedures are available on the ICCR scholarship portal. Applicants may also find additional information on the official website and social media platforms of the High Commission.

For further assistance, students can contact the Education Wing of the High Commission via phone or email, the release added.
