At least four people, including a policeman, have suffered injuries during a shootout between law enforcers and suspected drug peddlers in Narayanganj.

The incident occurred around 3:00 pm on Saturday near the city's Isdair Railway Line, said Md Mahbub Alam, chief of Fatullah Model Police Station.

Police said a suspected drug dealer, identified only as Jashim, was shot in the leg.
