The Bangladesh Coast Guard arrested two drug peddlers with 15,000 Yaba pills worth Tk 75 lakh at Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday.

The Coast Guard station Teknaf conducted a special operation at 1:00pm on the Naf River adjacent to Keruntali under Teknaf, said a press release.

During the operation, two drug peddlers were arrested along with the Yaba pills in the area after searching a suspicious dinghy.

The process of taking further legal action against the seized Yaba pills, the dinghy used for smuggling and the arrested drug dealers is under process.
